H1N1 Vaccine IS Available

For your information I was able to get the H1N1 vaccine in New York City. It has become available in very limited distribution and here in NY the Dept of Health has a distribution system that doesn't appear to make sense. A small number of pediatricians have it where if you know them they might give you the vaccine. Some hospitals have limited supply but again you have to know about it, as it is not being advertised. In NYC a large pharmacy chain Duane-Reade has a walk-in medical clinic and they are offering the H1N1 vaccine but availability was limited to 1 store as far as I know, and thats how I got it. I went to the NYC DOH website and found locations giving flu vaccine and called Duane Reade who was listed and found it. I don't know if its true but the doctor who gave me the vaccine said it takes 10 days to 2 weeks to kick in.
