Should You Get Tested?

What is Hepatitis?

"Hepatitis" means inflammation of the liver, and is most often caused by a virus. An estimated 5.3 million Americans are living with chronic hepatitis; and because the virus may not cause symptoms for 20 or 30 years, most do not know they are infected. Chronic viral hepatitis is the leading cause of liver cancer and the most common reason for liver transplantation.
